I was awake early the other day
and saw the most amazing sunrise; it was the inspiration this cocktail.
The
Tequila Sunrise cocktail is a classic. I haven’t had one in years.
They are so tropical and pretty.
I
love that the ingredients are simple and you most likely have them on hand.
What
you need,
1
oz. tequila
Orange
juice
1
tsp. grenadine
Ice
Maraschino
Cherries for garnish
Fill
a high ball glass ¾ of the way with ice cubes. Pour the tequila and orange
juice over the ice, stir to combine.
Carefully
tip the glass a little and pour the grenadine down the inside of the glass. It should
just sink to the bottom.
Garnish
with a maraschino cherry, or 3!

I'm not sure that I've ever had one of these, but who doesn't like drinks with grenadine in them!
